It takes a lot for us to reflect and explore aspects of ourselves. We applaud your curiosity and courage.

What is ADHD?

ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders. Individuals with ADHD commonly struggle with controlling impulses, sustaining attention, or being physically or mentally over or under-active.

Who is this screener for?

The ASRS-5 is designed for adult’s 18+. This screener can help in determining if ADHD support or treatment may be beneficial to you and/or how to proceed regarding an evaluation or diagnosis.

How to complete the screener:

Carefully read each question and choose an answer that you feel is the best fit for yourself. This screener has 6 multiple choice questions. Once you’ve answered all questions, click Results  to see more information. The results of this screener are by no means an indicator of who you are or the full picture; it is simply a first step in exploring.

Your results are private unless you choose to share them. We will not be gathering your information or results; after you click results, you can download your report. If you choose to meet with a therapist, psychologist, or coach, these results can be helpful to share so they can help you on your journey.

To download your report, scroll to the bottom of this page and click Download. You can then open and save the results to your computer.

Let’s get you started

1. How often do you have difficulty concentrating on what people are saying to you even when they are speaking to you directly?

2. How often do you leave your seat in meetings or other situations in which you are expected to remain seated?

3. How often do you have difficulty unwinding and relaxing when you have time to yourself?

4. When you’re in a conversation, how often do you find yourself finishing the sentences of the people you are talking to before they can finish them themselves?

5. How often do you put things off until the last minute?

6. How often do you depend on others to keep your life in order and attend to details?

You scored within typical range

This screener is not indicating a need for further support. But if you feel your results are such because you are working very hard to manage and cope, we have therapists and coaches who can help you implement shifts to make it smoother and easier.  Lauren, our team’s Care Coordinator, is here to answer any of your questions.
If you still feel you are autistic even though you scored low on the AQ, try taking the RAADS-R screener, which often helps identify autism in adults who’s autistic traits might be missed on the AQ.
